Letters and Alphabets

     [2] SOME PRIMARY KNOWLEDGE:-

Letters and words:

    1. 1. Letters:- Men use some particularly marks or signs in every Language to display their aims, ideas and conceptions. These marks or signs are called Letters in english. Or.
A letter is a mark that represents a sound. 
    There are twenty six (26) Letters in English Grammar. viz; A,B,C, D.......Z.
 (a) Marks of big hand/ Letters are said to be Capital Letters. Like, A,B,C,D......
(b) Marks of small handwriting are said to be Small Letters. Like, a,b,c,d,e.........
[2] Alphabet:- A set of Letters used in the English language is called Alphabet.
Or, There are twenty six Letters in english language. This set of 26 Letters is called Alphabet.
 حروف تہجی کو درج ذیل میں درجہ بندی کیا گیا ہے
Alphabet is categorized in the following;
(a) Vowel :- Vowels can form Or create a sound. In english, there are five Vowels, (a, e, i, o, u, )
(b) Consonant:- Consonants can create or form no such vowel sound. In English there are 21 Consonants, viz;
( b, c, d, f, g, h, j, k, l, m, n, p, q, r, s, t, v, w, x, y, z,)
*Semi-vowel :- 'W' and 'y' are called semi-vowel because sometime  they are pronounced as a vowel and sometime as a Consonant.
When 'w' and 'y' are placed between or end a word are called Vowel. And  when they are used as a first Letters are called consonant. 
As a Consonant:- week, wolf, year, yellow,
As a vowel  :- two, owl, try, fly,
Therefore 'w',and 'y' are called semi-vowels.
